SF City Academy

Imagine 3,000 children being raised in a district where crime and poverty run rampant. What would it take to tip the scale and revitalize this community? A large part of the revitalization of this community will be through education. We exist to intervene on behalf of the children in the inner city of San Francisco. Our mission is to equip and empower these children to break the cycles of poverty and despair by giving them a quality education; setting them up for a fair chance at life. Since 2008, 83% of our graduates have attended or are attending college. Founded in 1997, we were the first school in the Tenderloin District. Our goal is to have 350 children enrolled in SFCA in the next three years.
